What Alignment Looks Like
Aligned people still work hard. The difference isn't effort. It's direction. They respond instead of react. They know what they're building, so they can tell the difference between what moves them forward and what only feels urgent.
That kind of clarity comes from somewhere specific: knowing your values well enough to let them shape your schedule, holding boundaries without needing to justify them, and making decisions on purpose instead of by default. Alignment doesn't remove the effort. It gives the effort somewhere to go.
